Emerald Isle Public Works Emblem
Goal: Create a public works department emblem for use in branding of vehicles and equipment
Idea: Mirror the emblem of the town fire department while introducing elements distinctive of public works
Product: I incorporated the existing colors of the department and the town into a four leaf clover design, while retaining the central shield of the fire department
Result: The design was approved and is currently in use by the department
Beach Safety Campaign
Goal: With minimal budget, increase beach safety awareness for incoming tourists
Idea: Work with local businesses to display safety information in prominent locations in order to guarantee accessibility to necessary information
Product: I designed and disseminated foldable table toppers containing information about safety codes and dangerous water conditions
Result: 8 major local businesses with high tourist traffic agreed to display the table toppers. The table toppers are still in use years later, and the project came in under budget
